Mindark invite Entropia participants to join us for a few days as Entropia ambassadors at the Gen Con Indy games convention at the Indianapolis Convention Center in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA between August 14-17, 2008.
A good knowledge of Entropia is required and a positive attitude for meeting people and demonstrating some of the basics of Entropia. Gen Con will have a computer gaming space that we'll be exhibiting in, but it also draws from Anime, Fantasy, and paper and pencil game players in a big way. Preference will be given to people who have experience in these other areas, as well as Entropia Universe and if you are able to explain to people why they'd like Entropia Universe also, all the better. Also, we're looking for both male and female ambassadors of all ages.

Mindark have received a number of requests regarding official sponsorship of InWorld events. Our official policy for sponsorship of InWorld events is as follows:

To be considered for sponsorship, an event must have been successfully administered on one previous occasion i.e. first time events will not be sponsored.
Event sponsorship requests must be submitted six months before the event will be held, including all details of the event and statistics from previous event(s).
Events must be in full compliance with the Entropia Universe EULA.
Sponsorship will be decided on a case-by-case basis in consideration of theme, size, promotion plan etc.

For a long time, creatures in Entropia Universe have been created from a generic template. To realize the original Calypso vision of creature diversity and distinctiveness, we have in VU 9.2 and the upcoming VU 9.3 rebalanced certain creatures' characteristics (meaning that certain characteristics have been increased, while others have been decreased). These adjustments have added a further dimension to determining the behavior, traits and threat level of creatures.
Loots have naturally been adjusted to reflect the new characteristics.
