Once again, we have reached that time of year where the concentration of Eomon pheromones in the atmosphere is at its peak. The Calypso Defense Force (CDF) and Colonial Xenobiological Institute (CXI) are working to plot movement patterns and study the phenomenon further, as various creatures on Calypso respond to this neurobiological stimulus.
Just like last year the Mul mutants are expected to be the most affected, and thus also the most aggressive and dangerous. As previously reported by EBN, Mulmun activity has already increased in anticipation as the tribes make their way to their ritual spots.
During these rituals, the strongest and most combative Mulmun is selected by their group as the leader and center of their rites. This Ascended Mulmun is driven into a frenzy by the other Mulmun and a mysterious connection to Force Nexus stones gathered for the occasion, temporarily making it far more powerful and dangerous.
Summer Mayhem rewards include Summer Strongboxes*, Legacy Strongboxes, Cosmetic Tokens, and Mayhem Tokens. You can exchange Cosmetic Tokens, and Mayhem Tokens for exclusive items offered by the Mayhem Token Traders in Cape Corinth, Port Atlantis, and Twin Peaks on Planet Calypso.
Rewards in Summer Mayhem are based on performance in the event instances and are automatically unlocked and awarded when you meet specific time threshold criteria.
Cosmetic Tokens and Mayhem Tokens can be accumulated throughout several events to purchase cosmetics and more exclusive items, allowing participants to make incremental progress toward their desired rewards. Cosmetic Tokens and Mayhem Tokens are non-tradable, but the items purchased from the Mayhem Token Vendor are tradable.
*The Summer Strongbox page will have updated information on June 17, 11:00 UTC.
Use the Global Events list to access the Summer Mayhem. Mayhem Assault has one instance.
The Mayhem Assault instance is accessed via the Global Events List from any planet in Entropia Universe.
Your goal is to get through the ravine gauntlet by killing Mulmuns, destroying objectives, and defeating the Boss within a Stage's time threshold. Doing so completes the Stage, which gives rewards and unlocks the next Stage. You can still complete the instance if the threshold is missed, but then no rewards will be given for that Stage.
To inflict damage on the Boss, you need to eliminate the surrounding Mulmun, which will weaken the defenses of the Force Nexus Stones. Destroying these stones will then strip the Boss of its protection. At certain health thresholds, the Boss regains its protection, and the process has to be repeated. Be aware that even if the Boss is stationary, it will hurt you with its ranged attacks.
The ravine gauntlet is hot, and you will slowly become debilitated; Seek the shadows to cool yourself and avoid the boiling sun. Also, keep an eye out for destructible crystals in the area. Their locations vary in each stage, but when destroyed, they give you a helpful buff.
Please note that dying during an active stage, or letting it time out, will fail the stage. However, you can re-enter the instance as many times as you like to try again.
Do not abandon this mission! Doing so will forfeit all your progress and support cannot reinstate it.
