Prizes in Halloween Mayhem are awarded in the form of Mayhem Tokens, which can also be looted from event creatures in this and other Mayhem-style events. Mayhem Tokens can be exchanged for exclusive items via the Mayhem Token Trader, located in Cape Corinth, Port Atlantis and Twin Peaks on Planet Calypso.
Mayhem Tokens can be accumulated over the course of several events to purchase more expensive items, allowing participants to make incremental progress toward their desired rewards.
Mayhem Tokens are non-tradable, but the items available for purchase in the Mayhem Token Vendor are tradable. Note that certain Mayhem Token Vendor items may also require special Placement Mayhem Tokens, awarded as event prizes, in order to be purchased.
Interact with the winged statue inside the Annihilation event instance to begin spawning zombies and start the mission timer; the timer pauses automatically when leaving the instance.
Eliminate Halloween Zombie Mutants to accumulate as many points as possible in 10 hours.
A random number of points (0, 1, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100, 250, 500, 1000, or 5000) is automatically awarded after defeating one of the event instance mutants.
Once your 10-hour run is complete, your score is finalized and recorded. You can then start a new run to try to improve upon your previously-recorded score. The score from a new run is only recorded if it is higher than the previously-recorded score.
You can only have a recorded score in a single category at a time. Recording a new score with higher points (regardless of category) will replace any previously-recorded score.
The top ten highest scorers (most accumulated points) in each category win prizes.
There is also a Practice Annihilation mode, which is not part of the competition. This mode allows teams of up to 4 players to enter and has no skill requirement restrictions. Players can also enter without a team.
Practice Annihilation mode will allow hunters to try out different categories and hunt for Mayhem tokens and Halloween Strongboxes at their leisure. The creatures in Practice Annihilation are Shared Loot.
Survive for as long as you can against increasingly dangerous stages of Zombie Mutants and Dogs!
Dying, disconnecting or leaving will end the instance. Score will be recorded at the moment of disconnect/death.

Each stage consists of 10 phases. On phases 3, 6 and 9 there will be a capture point that must be reached within 45 seconds, and held for 15 seconds. Failing hold the capture point ends the instance.
Randomly placed pumpkins containing various buffs appear periodically. Beware that some pumpkins are tricks, rather than treats, and will result in a debuff instead.
Volatile Barrels - Destructible objects that deal damage to all nearby enemies. PED spent on destroying the barrel is transferred to the loot of creatures damaged by the explosion.
