Entropia Universe Cash Card FAQ

In this section you will find useful information and answers to Frequently Asked Questions about the Entropia Universe Cash Card.

In which currency are funds stored on my EU Cash Card Account?
They are stored in US dollars.

When I withdraw funds, which currency will I receive?
Funds will always be received in your local currency.

Who sets the exchange rate and how can I find out the exact rate?
The bank that operates the ATM machine sets the exchange rate. You should be able to get this information from the local bank in question.

What happens if I try to withdraw more than my account balance from the card?
The withdrawal will be rejected and a rejection-fee will be charged to your EU Cash Card account (if there's money to cover the fee). There will soon be an option to check the account balance from the website.

What happens if I accidentally leave insufficient funds to cover account fees?
Nothing. The EU Cash Card account balance can never be negative.

Can the cards usage be suspended for a period of time?
No, unfortunately not. But if your balance is 0.00, the account will not cost you anything since there are no funds to cover the monthly fee (see previous question).

What happens when the card is no longer needed and is thus terminated?
If you do not want to keep your card as a souvenir you can cut the card (but please ensure that the card number is readable) and return it to us. When the card has arrived here, we will contact the issuer and close your account.

If the card is stolen who do I contact to have it disabled immediately?
Contact the Support Dept. There will soon be an option to freeze the card via the Entropia Universe website.

Can funds be moved back off the card in case I suddenly find I need those funds before I withdraw them?
At a later stage this should be possible. But at the moment it is not possible to transfer any funds back to your PED card from the EU Cash Card.

How can I find an ATM machine in my neighborhood?
