What do I have to do to become a miner?
Mining is one of many interesting occupations within the Entropia Universe. Depending on whether you want to mine ore or enmatter, you need to get a DETECTONATOR or DETECTOR tool, SEISMIC BOMBS or SURVEY PROBES and a EXCAVATOR or EXTRACTOR tool. These basic tools are available from the TRADE TERMINALS located in every major city, town and outpost on Calypso.

I dropped a SEISMIC BOMB, but the search interface never appeared.
If you experience lag, there might be a delay before the search screen appears. If, during this time, you drop another SEISMIC BOMB, the first session will automatically be cancelled and you will 'loose' that search.

I have found a resource, but I cannot get close enough to excavate it.
Sometimes resources are inaccessible. They might be stuck under trees, stones, turrets or in buildings. This is all part of the Entropia Universe experience.

Some friends and I wanted to go on a beacon mission, but when the door closed, everybody got thrown out of the ship except me. What happened?
All participants who want to join a beacon mission need to be in the same team. If you are not part of the team, you will be thrown out of the ship when it takes off.

My teammates and I were on a beacon mission. Why was I the only one who was able to loot the boxes?
Only the team members who have been in the boss robot room after its death can loot the boxes.

I went with a team on a beacon mission. We killed the boss robot and all of a sudden we receive a self destruct message. We did not even have the time to loot all the boxes. What happened?
After killing the boss robot you have approximately 5 minutes to loot the boxes before the ship self destructs.

The self destruct timer started too early. I had the impression that the 5 minute countdown began when the boss robot had been killed.
The 5 minute self destruct countdown starts once the boss robot has been killed, OR approximately one hour after activating the beacon.

Some of the robots were shooting through the walls. It was impossible to get at them and we were not able to finish our mission. Please fix this.
The robots are able to shoot through the walls. This is intentional to make the mission more challenging. You have to find ways to get around this and track these robots down before they manage to hit you.

During a Beacon Mission I tried reviving my friend using a Resurection Chip but the action failed even though I have sufficient skills. Why?
The Beacon Mission doesn't allow the use of Resurection Chips. If you die during a Beacon Mission you become disconnected from the mission. This is an intended feature of the Beacon Mission.
